Expect More, Achieve More

Parent Resources

It is the District's goal to provide our parents with a platform to stay actively involved, updated, and informed about your student's education. The Terrell ISD Parent Portal is a valuable resource available in English and Spanish for parents/guardians to use and become more involved in their children’s education.

Parent Portal provides parents/guardians with three key benefits:

  • Secure on-line access to their children's grades, assignments, and attendance

  • Email or text alerts of absences and grade average changes

  • A two-way communication tool for parents and teachers

The district may close schools for a full day or part of a day because of bad weather or emergency conditions. Check the district website, listen to radio stations KPYK, WBAP, KGVL, other metro stations, or tune in to television channels 4, 5, 8, or 11 for official announcements. The news stations will only list schools that are closed or delayed through their notifications.

Emergency notifications will be made via phone and email using School Messenger. School Messenger uses the contact information from Parent Portal and includes email addresses and all phone numbers included as parent/guardian contact preferences.
