Enrollment and Registration
If you are new to Terrell ISD and are enrolling your child for the first time in first through twelfth grades, welcome! We are excited for you to join the Tiger family and begin your educational journey with us. All children who are five years of age and under 21 years of age on or before the first day of September and are residents of Terrell ISD may attend Terrell public schools. Registration takes place on each individual campus and generally begins the first week of August. Registration is by appointment only and parents should contact their child's school to schedule an appointment.

New to the District 1st - 12th Grade Students
To make enrollment a smooth process for the families of our littlest Tigers we have created step-by-step instructions below. Let’s get started!
Birth Certificate
Social Security Card (Preferred)
Photo ID of person enrolling new student
Immunization Records
Proof of Residency- Water or electric bill in guardians' name or Lease/mortgage agreement in guardian's name
Withdraw papers from previous district (if applicable)
Foster documentation (if applicable)
In order to register your child, all parents must create a Parent Portal account. Additionally, Parent Portal is where you will check your child's grades and attendance. Below is a guide to help you create a new account along with the link to Parent Portal to get started.

In mid-summer, parents will receive an email to finalize the enrollment process of their child in Terrell ISD.
BY APPOINTMENT ONLY: Take all required documents to your child's campus. You must have physical copies of each document. Digital copies will not be accepted or printed on-site.
