Purchasing

The Terrell Independent School District Purchasing Department is charged with the responsibility of creating a healthy and competitive atmosphere among a large number of vendors in accordance with the Purchasing Code of Ethics. Employees of the Purchasing Department, as well as all other TISD employees, are required to decline the offer of gifts or favors that might influence, or be construed to influence, any purchase of goods or services utilizing District funds.

Vendors are encouraged to contact the Purchasing Director about their status as a vendor with the district or coop membership status prior to contacting any Terrell ISD staff, departments, or campuses.  Once cleared by the Purchasing Department, vendors may reach out by email to any campus or department and schedule an appointment.  Campuses and departments are not required to meet with vendors. Meetings either in person or by phone are at their discretion.

For information on how to become an approved District vendor, please contact Michelle Johnson, Purchasing Director.
