Children's Health: TeleHealth
Terrell ISD has partnered with Children’s HealthSM to provide convenient access to School-Based Telehealth and Telehealth at Home. Your child can be connected with a doctor or nurse practitioner at Children’s Health using video technology from school or home. Your child can be diagnosed and have prescriptions sent to your pharmacy, all from one visit.
Telehealth services at Terrell ISD or used directly from the Virtual Visit app will be billed to your insurance provider or to Medicaid. No insurance? No problem. After your visit, Children’s Health will bill you directly. Most families qualify for a discount and no student will be turned away for a visit.
If your student is remote learning, our Children’s Health team of providers is available for a visit from 8am to 5pm using the Virtual Visit app. For Urgent Care visits at home outside of school hours, families including children and adults, can access health care resources through Virtual Visit by Children’s Health Virtual Care.
