Return to Learn (COVID-19)
This guide presents protocols that have been developed or expanded to prevent the spread of COVID-19. It is based on guidance from the Centers for Disease Control, the Texas Education Agency, and the Kaufman County Emergency Management Coordinator.
Recommendations have been developed by a Re-Entry Task force within the District, as well as parents, community partners, county and state officials and health advisors, and Texas Public School colleagues.
The top priority in all decisions made by Terrell ISD is the health, safety and well-being of our students and staff. This document is subject to change as conditions evolve in our community. If the circumstances surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic change, the guidance we receive from state and local agencies may also change and cause adjustments to our plans.
