For the third time in three months, Terrell High School Senior, John Ory, packed his bags and traveled to the Texas State Capitol to compete in a UIL Speech and Debate competition. For the first time, he has returned home with a gold medal around his neck as a Texas State Champion.
Terrell High School's Ja'Naria Jackson says this won't be the last time you see her on the big stage. Jackson, a 16-year-old sophomore at Terrell High School, did what most only imagine. And then she did it again. In about two hours, Jackson claimed two State Championships at the meet.
At age 15, Terrell High School junior Bridget Wilson, has made history by becoming the youngest credential coder in the American Academy of Professional Coders, an organization which has a membership of more than 200,000 people. Wilson earned her certification through Arkansas State University Three Rivers this Spring and is now able to work in hospitals as a medical coder in billing and healthcare.
