Passionate and goal oriented, Perla Bautista is not afraid of a challenge and believes there is no limit to what she can achieve. Her talent and grit even caught the attention of NASA, landing Bautista a coveted spot in their High School Aerospace Scholars (HAS) program.

Terrell High School freshman English teacher, Micah Rice, was honored alongside 39 educators from the State of Texas at the Texas Teacher of the Year Awards Ceremony on Friday, October 26 at the Bullock Texas State History Museum in Austin, Texas.

TISD received their Texas Education Agency (TEA) state accountability A-F ratings and is proud to announce the District rating has increased from a C (75) in 2018 to a B (87) in 2019. All TISD campuses improved their ratings under the Student Achievement domain in the state's accountability system.
