Terrell High School Band

The Terrell High School Band is composed of over 150 students, grades 9-12. The band program is a multifaceted musical performance program. The Tiger Marching Band comprises 150-plus performers, performs at all varsity football games, and has a competitive marching season in October and November. The concert band program is comprised of two performing ensembles and Percussion Ensemble.

In addition to these musical ensembles, the program has an established Colorguard program for grades 9-12. The program is an integral part of the visual side of the marching band and participates in the North Texas Colorguard Circuit in the spring.

Herman Furlough, Jr. Middle School Band

The Furlough Middle School Bands are composed of over 300 students, grades 6 - 8. Instrumental music begins in the sixth grade at Furlough Middle School and is taught in homogeneous class settings. Full band classes are structured for seventh and eighth graders, where individual skills are emphasized, and ensemble skills are developed and refined.

In addition to these musical ensembles, the program has an established colorguard program for grades 6-8. With over 50 students enrolled, the colorguard participates in public performance opportunities and the North Texas Colorguard Circuit.
